After successful award ceremonies for the best learning moment in OS in 2010 and 2011 is it time for more depth this year.

We are looking for a small number of show cases: projects and initiatives that embody the philosophy of the Institute of Brilliant Failures – with the best intentions and good preparation, get unexpected results, which leads to a learning moment. The cases will be discussed and presented in detail during Partos Plaza on 4 October in Amsterdam. Following the discussion, the public will choose the best case.

Do you have a case that can contribute to the goal of the Brilliant Failure 2012? A case that guarantees transparency, learning ability, and stimulate innovation in the development cooperation sector? For instance:

  • After considering the risks, have you taken the space to experiment and learned something valuable??
  • Did you start with a good dataset, with calculated risks, but nevertheless still surprised by unexpected factors?
  • Have you regularly taken stock between planned activities and everyday activities?, changeable reality to make progress?

If you think you have such a case and/or you would like to present your own case, we would like to hear from you. We will help you prepare the case by conducting an in-depth interview to get to the heart of the matter and we will also help you with the Partos presentation.
