De Brilliant Failure Award – Health, the prize for the best teaching moment in healthcare, consists of a jury prize and a public prize. The jury prize goes to Catharina van Oostveen, nursing scientist and nurse at the AMC Amsterdam, for the project Time for top care. The public award goes to Ab van de Wakker with the project diversity panel.

The jury prize is up 19 September awarded by Drs Cathy van Beek MCM, Board of Directors UMC St Radboud Nijmegen and director NVZD (Association of administrators in care). From public award was awarded by Paul Iske, founder of the initiator Brilliant Failure Award. The award ceremony took place during the Healthcare Management Forum.

The jury consisted of Bas Bloem (Radboud University/ MijnZorgnet), Rob Dillman (Zaans Medical Center), Cathy van Beek (Radboud University / NVDZ) and Paul Iske (ABN AMRO / Maastricht University), Henk Smid (SunMw), Both the jury and the public could choose from six candidates. The Eindhoven artist Judith Zeeman designed the awarded trophies.
