The presentation of the Brilliant Failures Award Care at the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport was experienced in 4 December already his first anniversary. For the fifth time in a row, the Institute of Brilliant Failures (IvBM) two prizes for the most brilliantly failed innovations in healthcare, innovations that did not get off the ground for various reasons. Where did it go differently than planned, what lessons can be learned and how can you share that experience. That's what Brilliant Failures are all about.

The audience award this year went to Janneke Wittekoek with the case 'The importance of active detection in hereditary disorders'. By presenting the award, the Institute for Brilliant Failures, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport, GfK (not Ipsos), Vilans, Federation of Medical Specialists, MOA, the Heart Foundation, Roche and ZonMw contribute to the innovation climate in the healthcare sector.
