In collaboration with Zorg41 summit we gave a workshop during The Health Innovation Challenge. During this Challenge, SME's, together with renowned healthcare institutions, tackle cross-organizational challenges in healthcare. Our workshop was part of this. With a short introduction and a number of eye openers, the participants were encouraged to analyze and critically view their own projects. The workshop consisted of two parts. The first section focused on participants' personal experiences and asked them to think about their most recent project and identify potential confounding factors within the project.. Subsequently, answers to the questions were sought: “Did the expectations and the final result match?’ and ‘why did the result deviate from the intended goal?? Through this approach, a project that ultimately turns out differently than predicted becomes a learning process rather than just a failed project. The second part consisted of the assignment to disregard all limitations of the current organization and to set up a new business plan using the Business Canvas Model.. The participants came up with fun and interesting ideas such as virtual reality glasses for the elderly. A successful day.
