Brilliant Failures Award Healthcare

On 16 January 2020 the Brilliant Failures Award Care takes place. By a Brilliant Failure we mean a well-prepared attempt to achieve something where there is a different outcome than planned. Failures are brilliant when they are learned from and the experiences are shared with others.

Five nominees will share their learning experiences this afternoon, both plenary and in smaller break-out groups. Een jury, consisting of experience experts and healthcare professionals, will then decide who will go home with the coveted jury prize. In addition, you and the rest of the attendees determine who will receive the audience award.

Program

Sharing learning experiences is central during the sixth edition of the Brilliant Failures Award Healthcare 2020.

During the plenary program various speakers will appear on stage. In addition, you choose two cases for which you want to attend the second chance session. Together we look at how the failed projects, can offer the people involved and the knowledge gained a second chance. Before we close with a drink, both the jury and the public choose the most Brilliant Failure.

Directions

Are you coming with your own transport?, then there is parking on the Kohnstamm Square Parking (Neighborhood 'Vollenhove', 3706 CA Zeist). Shuttle buses run from here to the Achmea Congress Center (trade road 2, Zeist).

By car

From Amsterdam

From Amsterdam you follow the A2 to Utrecht. At the Oude Rijn junction, take the A12 in the direction of Arnhem, then the A27 towards Hilversum. Then follow the A28 towards Amersfoort. On the A28 take exit no. 3 'Zeist-East/Den Dolder' N238. At the end of the exit, go straight ahead at the traffic lights. At the 2nd traffic light turn right. Continue on Dijnselburgerlaan. Na 1200 meters cross the intersection at the traffic lights. Then take the 1st right. Before the cafeteria turn left and then immediately right. The parking lot is at the top left of the driveway.

From Amersfoort

From Amersfoort you take the A28 highway to Utrecht. Then exit no. 3 'Zeist-East/Den Dolder' N238. At the end of the exit on the roundabout 3rd exit. Na 200 meters turn right again and at the 2nd traffic light turn right. Continue on Dijnselburgerlaan. Na 1200 meters cross the intersection at the traffic lights. Then take the 1st right. Before the cafeteria turn left and then immediately right. The parking lot is at the top left of the driveway.

From Rotterdam/The Hague

From Rotterdam/The Hague follow the A12 to the Lunetten junction. There you follow the A27 towards Hilversum. Then take the A28 in the direction of Amersfoort and then take exit no. 3 'Zeist-East/Den Dolder' N238. At the end of the exit, go straight ahead at the traffic lights and turn right at the 2nd traffic light. Continue on Dijnselburgerlaan. Na 1200 meters cross the intersection at the traffic lights. From 's-Hertogenbosch

From 's-Hertogenbosch you follow the A2 in the direction of Amsterdam. At the Everdingen junction take the A27 in the direction of Hilversum/Almere. At the Rijnsweerd junction, follow the A28 in the direction of Amersfoort. On the A28 take exit no. 3 'Zeist-East/Den Dolder' N238. At the end of the exit, go straight ahead at the traffic lights and turn right at the 2nd traffic light. Continue on Dijnselburgerlaan. Na 1200 meters cross the intersection at the traffic lights. Then take the 1st right. Before the cafeteria turn left and then immediately right. The parking lot is at the top left of the driveway.

From Arnhem

From Arnhem you follow the A12 towards The Hague. Take exit no. 20 'Driebergen' direction Zeist/N225. At the end of the exit at the traffic lights, turn right onto Hoofdstraat (sign to Zeist). This one turns into the Driebergseweg. At the 2nd traffic light you continue the road via the Dorpsstraat. Then follow the sign to Utrecht. After the Shell pump on the right-hand side, turn right after the 3rd traffic light; On De Dreef and straight on at the roundabout. Na ± 800 meter (after the 2nd left high fat building) do you turn left. Before the cafeteria turn left again and then immediately right. The parking lot is at the top left of the driveway.

Public transport

From Utrecht

Take the bus at the CS in Utrecht 52 direction Amersfoort via Zeist, trade center stop, Zeist. From this stop it is a five-minute walk to the Achmea congress center.

From Amersfoort

Take bus at the station in Amersfoort 56, direction Doorn/Wijk bij Duurstede or take bus 52, towards Utrecht. Applies to both buses: Get off at the Handelscentrum, Zeist (first stop after crossing the highway). Then to the other side of the road, walk back, and turn right (just before the highway crossing) on the industrial estate. From this point it is a five minute walk to the Achmea location.
