Brilliant Failures Award Healthcare 2021

Failures are brilliant when the learning experiences are shared

On 23 In March, the Brilliant Failures Awards for Care were presented for the seventh time. A Brilliant Failure is a well-prepared attempt to make something happen, that has a different outcome than planned. Failures are brilliant when they are learned from and the experiences are shared with others. During the digital award ceremony, the nominated healthcare innovators shared their lessons with the public.

Also this year two prizes were handed out, the audience award went to the Brilliant Failure of the Corona Foundation in Map(SCiK(the Foundation for Mapping Corona)). SCiK tried to keep the local spread of the Coronavirus in sight, they succeeded in this in the pilot in Rotterdam. Unfortunately, things turned out differently at national level. The second prize was the jury prize, which was won by GP Dianne Jaspers with her initiative for digital triage at the GP post.
